Actually, you don’t need to win at all.
Perception is simply someone’s opinion—about you or a situation. And in no case can it replace the facts. (Courtesy: Priyanka Chopra )
Remember, the earth is round and has no corners—the truth will surface one day.But even if it doesn’t, that’s okay. Because you know the facts, and that’s what truly matters.
Don’t let someone else’s perception affect you emotionally.
Any emotional impact caused by others’ opinions can hurt you, and more importantly, can create a negative environment around you.
It can also have a lasting impact—on you, your team, and your family. What we now refer to as mental health issues often starts with such unnoticed emotional triggers. And sometimes, the damage isn’t easily reversible.
So, what can you do?
Don’t give the remote control of your emotions to someone else. You must drive your emotions and your decisions. There’s no need to justify yourself against someone’s perception.
Take feedback as an opportunity for growth, not as a verdict.
It’s not easy—but with practice, it’s absolutely possible.
When you stop justifying yourself, the facts will eventually speak louder than perception.
What are your thoughts?
