Work-Life Balance: Sharing My Views with the ET NOW team .
I don’t believe in the idea of working 60 or 90 hours, and I’m not concerned about who said what. If I am passionate about my work, I will always give my best. There is a thin line between work and life balance.
Let me share a personal example. During one of the Diwali vacations, we had planned to visit our hometown. I was on leave, but we received an invite for a senior management review.
My wife and daughter were ready from 7 a.m., but I had to attend a few meetings. My wife told me, “Please prioritize your work; we can start later.”
I attended the meetings, prepared for the review, and felt excited and supported by my wife. The review went well and gave me a sense of accomplishment.
However, I don’t recommend working at the cost of physical or mental health, nor do I support any form of exploitation. This subject cannot be generalized.
What is your take on this?
